Aquathons

• We run regular Aquathons on a Wednesday evening from 6.30pm. The Aquathons have a range of race distances and formats. Please see the training section for example maps. Our first Aquathon of the 24/25 season will be the 9th of October 2024.

• We start each season at Drummoyne pool in October and alternate each month between Cabarita and Drummoyne pools with our final session in April.

• We do a Halloween Aquathon, a Christmas Aquathon, handicap Aquathons and relay Aquathons which adds lots of fun and variety to our Wednesday night racing. 

• All Aquathons are timed and posted to Facebook

Juniors Events

• We have a Juniors coordinator, who arranges Juniors events at our regular weekly Aquathons. 

• Juniors event duration is generally tailored to Juniors attending and their ability.

• The Juniors coordinator completes the events with the Juniors, with parents joining the Junior events as desired, typically on a rotation basis. 

• We actively involve Juniors in relay, novelty and handicap races, to add more fun and variety to our Juniors and Adult racing experiences.

• Juniors are encouraged to race in Triathlon NSW events, as this brings a focus to training and builds excitement about upcoming events.

NSW Triathlon Premier League Events

• We have maintained its position in NSW Triathlon Premier League for the last two seasons.  For a small club we are super proud of our Triathlon NSW Premier League status, and we are super keen to maintain that status.

• We look to maintain that status by getting maximum club attendance at NSW Triathlon Premier League events.  If you join CTC you will be part of our Facebook group where we post up our target events.
